Career Quiz: What Career Should I Do?
Thirty quick questions about the work you'd actually enjoy, sorted into the six interest areas career counselors have used for decades.
No sign-up. No email. Your answers stay on your device.
This career quiz asks what kind of work you'd enjoy, not what you already happen to be good at. It sorts your answers into six interest areas, the RIASEC model, and shows which ones pull at you the most. You get your result the moment you finish, along with example jobs that tend to fit.
The six interest areas here come from the RIASEC model, sometimes called Holland codes after John Holland, the psychologist who developed them: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. Your top three form a short code, such as SAE, that captures the kind of work you gravitate toward. The interest markers behind this approach are public domain and come from O*NET, the career database the US Department of Labor maintains, along with its Interest Profiler. The items in this quiz are original, written in that same spirit.
